Story added: 2010-12-30
On my second pregnancy, everything looked great. I was excited that we at 18 weeks we found out we were having a boy. I did what I was told to do. No working out, try to slow down at my job, no smoking and took all my prenatal vitamins. On July 1, 2010 around 4:30 my water broke at my job. Went to the hospital and they said it wasn't my water... That it was hot and maybe I had an "accident".. I was discharged at 6:46 pm. On my way to pick up some chinese food a bigger gush. Went back to the hospital and after a 2 hour wait in the waiting area I was allowed back and after a few minutes a lot of stares they confirmed my worst fears. My afi was 3 CM. I was put on bedrest at the hospital for 8 weeks and given steroids at 24 weeks. My afi ( water fluids) flunctuated alot! and on August 25, 2010, I delivered my baby boy thru an emergency c-section at 28 weeks and 6 days, he weight 3lbs and 13 oz!. . His apgar was 3, after 5 minutes it was a 6 and at 10 An apgar of 7.

He was in the Nicu for 8 weeks and came home with some minor feeding issues. He just went for his last check up and weighted 14 lbs at 4 months !. Developmentally he is in 90th percentile ( according to his physical therapist). No issues. No club foot. He is our happy, healthy and normal baby and everything we prayed and dreamed of.

None of these would have been possible without the power of our lord. He answered our prayers, and he is all mighty. The one and only true doctor, the rest are just practitioners. He made our test , his testimony. All those nights of uncertainty in the hospital is nothing but a blurred memory. I know all the cases are different but I hope nothing but the best outcome for the Pprom momies out there.
