By Kari Vita, Cranford Usa
PROM at 15 weeks + 6 days. Delivery at 16 weeks.
Story added: 2011-11-26
We finally got preg after 2 long rounds of ivf. And then to find out it was twins. The preg started bleeding from positive beta with subchrionic bleeds. Finally things were going great n we were going to find out the sexes at 16 weeks n I ruptured complete on baby A. I was rushed to Er since I was only 15w6d. I was given the whole talk about inducing, infection n delivery but in a few short hours the fever set in n I got very sick. I had a d&e next day to terminate the preg. 2 months later I had to have a hysteroscopy to remove massive amounts of scar tissue from the infection. 6 months later we did frozen cycle n I got preg with a singelton n delivered her at 27w6d. She is 100% perfect with NO problems from being born early. I have cervical incompetence n a failed cerclage. No pprom this time. Preg now due march 2012 had a tac transabdominal cerclage and all is ok. So far so good...this time its a boy. All 3 preg was on p17 shots n received steroids to help with lungs in case of early delivery
