Ryver's PROM Story

By Ryver Dragon, Worcester USA
PROM at 22 weeksDelivery at 22 weeks.
Story added: 2000-12-31
I lost my little Girl on December 27th, 2000 to premature
rupture of the membrane. I started leaking fluids earlier in
the week and being this is my first pregnancy I didn't know
what it was. All the imformation I had read lead me to believe it was normal vaginal discharge but it wasn't. It started getting heavier and I was leaking through several pads a day. I went to the hospital on the 26th and they told me there was no amniotic fluid left and there was nothing that could be done to save her life.

A severe infection set in and my life became in danger. I delivered Amber Rose on Dec. 27th, 2000 at 1:45 AM with no heartbeat. The tears still come and at times I feel so numb. The hardest was leaving the hospital because I felt I should be walking out of there with my Baby in my arms. Sometime I still feel as if she is kicking me.
