after 3 early mc's i was relieved to have got passed the first three months, Then we were advised to have an amnio which we did. Every thing was fine until xmas day 2 wks and 6 days after the amnio.I found tat I was bleeding a small amount ,called the midwife who listened in and said baby was fine but if things did not stop to call the hospital again next day. Next day bleeding was worse with clots also leakage of fluid (assumed it was wee) Pelvic floor an all. went to hospital were they listened to baby
took bloods and gave anti d. sent home to see what happens
over night the leakage was worse and by end of next day had resolved to call midwife in the morning. However later that evening there was agiushing of blood. in hind sight it was watery7 and probaly fluid with blood but all I saw was the blood. went to hospital wher thay just seemed to wait for 3 days. When I said about the leakage I was told probably wee. when I said my belly was hard she said baby moving, when I said bleeding was worse she checked and said I had had a show. 7.30pm on saturday 30 december00 I went to the toilet adn felt something strange below. I was whisked of to the delivery suite where the consultant said that I must have been in labour. He then deliverd my son the rest of the way into the world. I waited 5 hours for theartre before the could remove the placenta. The consultant at the time said there was not as much water as he expexcted so I could be right and the waters were leaking. My own consultant seemed to totally ignore this said there was no infection so no indication that it was the amnio and all test were negative. try again. My little boy was perfect in every way and we named him Daniel.
