At 30weeks I went into labor. I went into L&D and they got the contractions stopped. On the monitor her heart rate was dropping around 80bpm, but the dr.'s didnt do anything because it would always come back up. I was kept in the hospital on continous monitoring because of her heart rate. After 1 week hospital stay my water broke, the dr. said I bought myself a hospital stay until she was born. I would have contractions off and on all the time. Each time dilating a cm. and then they would stop. Then after my water was broke for 1 week I went into labor at 1am. My labor lasted 21 hrs. and she was born at 3lbs 11oz and 17 1/2 in. long. She was born with an infection so they started her on antibiotics right away. After they examined the placenta they concluded that it had a severe infection and thats why I went into labor. My dr. said my body was trying to get rid of the baby due to the infection. Alyson pulled through with flying colors and come home at 3 weeks old. Aly was my last child. I have 2 boys also who were proms. My 7 year old son I had prom at 35 weeks, my 4 yr. old son I had prom at 25weeks and delivered him at 27 weeks. This last pregnancy they tried a cercluge and it didnt work. My husband and I decided that we were growing tired of they whole NICU situations and since we finaly had our little girl, she was the last. Feel free to email for any questions or support.
