I am 37 years old and for the past 4 years I've battled with fibroids. For two years we tried to get pregnant. Fertility treaments you name it we tried it. After just giving it a break we mananage to get pregnant without even trying. My pregnancy was going well. No problems at all until Dec. 30th, I began to have some leakage. Unfortuntatly I had no idea this was a sign of my water breaking. On Dec. 31st I called my doctor to check on what it could be and was advised to immediatly go to the ER and have an ultrasound preformed.

By the time we made to the ER all of my amiotic fluid came out. My baby had a strong heart beat for two days following. With it being the holidays and my OBGYN really didn't have any answers he had hoped that the baby would hold on until he could reach a specialist to see if we had any other options. But on the second day of being in the hospital on antibiotics the baby began to come. On Jan 2 2004, they had to take the baby. I'm so heart broken, we were so close. I'm just healing emotionally and physcially now and just wondering what I should do next. The doctors can't say if it was in fact the fibroids, the amnio, or just because. I have to address the fact that the fibroids are growing again and should I have another surgery which would be my third or what.
