By Kimberly Williams, USAI gave birth to twin girls (22wks). The smaller twin (McKenzie Anne-born weighing 11 ounces) only lived eight days. Her identical twin (Mary McClain - born weighing 1lb,8oz.) spent four months in the NICU. She had a grade 1 IVH and had surgery for ROP. She is now 13/9 months of age. She has had no complications since we got home from the hospital. We have not even had to visit the doctor - except for weight checks and vaccinations! She now weighs 16 pounds and is WALKING everywhere! I don't hink you can find a much happier ending than that!
