On Sunday, Jan.06,08, I experienced PROM. I was using the restroom and I felt something warm. At first I was unsure until I wiped myself. I saw something that looked like a thick mucous with veiny blood. I called my doc and he told me to go to the hospital as soon as possible.

They examined me and determined that it was indeed amniotic fluid. I didn't have pain, cramping or infection but the docs advised me or all of the potential risk. I decided to be discharged but my primary doc insisted that I stay, at least for 48hrs. After the ultrasound, my heart was broken to see my daughter looking so limp when I normally see her floating like a butterfly. There was very little fliud but I decided to trust God for a miracle. I was ready to stay in the hospital for the long haul in order to save my Princess "London Gisele."

I prayed and asked God for a sign and on Jan.15,08, my umbilical cord came down while having a bowel movement. It was very frightening but I decided to listen to my body and gather everyone for her arrival.
She was delivered vaginally and the placenta came almost 4hrs. later. She did not come out alive but she did whisper in my ear about 15mins. prior to arrival. I heard a very soft sound and then finally "mommy"!
I knew that she was with the Lord so I was really ready to push.

She was beautiful, just as I had imagined and I spent 8hrs. with her. We celebrated her and took many pics. She had this peaceful look on her face. I look at those pics with pride.

I know that she will be with me always and I will love her forever.
God Bless You All :)
